  • A meeting for recommendations for the landscape & ecosystem services restoration strategy held in Planning & Development Department, Govt. of Sindh with the World Bank mission headed by Christopher Warner, Senior Environmental Consultant.
  • Conservator of Forests Shaheed Benazirabad, Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Memon visited Dalipota forest on 8th January 2024 and inspected the plantation work carried oput under NDRMF Project. He appreciated plantation and it’s maintenance.
  • Conservator of forests, Afforestation Circle Shaheed Benazirabad, Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Memon visited Thatt Jagir Forest on 4/01/24 .Issued directions to broadcast seeds on blank areas and application of silvicultural operations to enhance growth and vitality of plantation .

    A shield distribution ceremony was held at Miani Forest Lodge. Chief Conservator of Sindh, Riaz Ahmed Wagan chaired the event and distributed shields for Best Performance in Anti-encroachment Drive in Sindh among officers & officials of various forest divisions for their participation and role in Encroachment Vacation Drive of Afforestation Division Matiari.
