During the Spring Tree Plantation Campaign held from February 15 to 28, 2026, the Social Forestry Division Jacobabad actively organized and participated in plantation drives in collaboration with the District Administration, Deputy Commissioner Jacobabad, District & Session Court Jacobabad, Civil Courts of Garhi Khairo and Thull, and other government departments.

The campaign aimed to promote environmental sustainability, increase green cover, and raise public awareness about the importance of tree plantation. Plantation activities were conducted at various government institutions, while saplings were also supplied to key stakeholders including the Pakistan Armed Forces, farmers, and members of the general public to ensure wider community participation.

The initiative demonstrated strong inter-departmental coordination and public engagement toward environmental conservation and sustainable development in the district.
