The Sindh Forest Department under aegis of UGP Programme arranged a meeting/seminar on 23rd January, 2026. Chaired by Mr. Saad S. Khan, Additional Secretary, MoCC&EC, it reviewed the UGPP and other forest and wildlife related collaborative initiatives between the SFD and the MoCC & EC.

The Secretary Forest & Wildlife Department, Mr. Najabuddin Sahito; CCF R&I and Mangroves, Mr. Riaz Ahmed Wagan; Agha Tahir Hussain Durrani (CCF/PPD, UGPP); Mr. Muhammad Zafar Wassan (Additional Secretary, F&WLD); Mr. Muhammad Saleem Vistro (CCF, Rangelands), Mr. Saeed Ahmed Pirani DG, Research) and other senior forest officers of the SFD represented and participated in the seminar.
