An anti-encroachment drive is carried out today on 7th December 2023 to get encroached forest lands vacated in Lakhat Forest of Afforestation Division Shaheed Benazirabad. During operation infrastructure, tubewells and unauthorised cultivated crops over encroached lands were destroyed by heavy machinery. During operation, backend support to maintain law & order situation and to avoid any resistance from encroachers, was provided by District & Police Administration of Shaheed Benazirabad.
