To heal our Planet and meet the Paris Agreement’s goal of limiting warming to 1.5 degrees C, the only economically feasible “CO2 ‘technology’, currently available, is the restoration of degraded forest landscapes and increasing the canopy cover. Apropos to this global campaign, Sustainable Forest Management Project, Sindh Chapter has also generously contributed by successfully restoring 5,500 acres (~19 million saplings) at Sukkur Forest Landscape through regeneration method. Forest inspection hut, fruit orchard over 15 acres, Hog deer enclosure (with 18 hog deers) & fixture of Solar trolley tubewell are additional worth seeing features.
