On Saturday Dated: 7.3.2026 The Secretary Forest & Wildlife Department Mr. Nisar Ahmed Memon visited the Sindh Forest Campus in Model Colony, Karachi to review forestry operations and reinforce the government’s commitment to environmental conservation.

During the visit, he planted an almond (badam) sapling as a symbolic gesture to promote tree plantation and strengthen awareness about expanding green cover across Sindh. He also toured the forest nursery and reviewed various nursery operations, focusing on the production of healthy seedlings essential for afforestation and reforestation initiatives.

He appreciated the well-maintained infrastructure of the Forest Campus and commended the dedication of the department’s team in advancing sustainable forestry and environmental protection efforts throughout the province.
