The area as a private game reserves according to officials
The irrigation in Sindh was intensified through the construction of barrages and development of canal irrigation system.
RIVERINE FORESTS
The most productive forests of Sindh
Sindh Forest Department controls an area of 241,198 hectares in the Riverine tract of the province which are categorized as "Riverine Forests"; locally known as Kacho forests.

Community Forestry Facilitation
Social forestry refers to the management of forests for the benefits of local communities. It includes aspects such as sustainable forest management, forest protection, and afforestation of degraded and barren lands with the objective of improving the rural, environmental, and social development.

    Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Memon, CF (A) Circle SBA paid visit of Khipro (A) Division on 11-01-2024. He distributed uniforms amongst Forest Guards. And, he also visited Wadhal, Khakhro & Morhadi Forests. Moreover he inspected recently planted areas in Khakhro forest and newly established forest landhis in Wadhal, Khakhro & Morhadi forests.
